You know when you've known someone for a long time and then you get the opportunity to know them in a new capacity. And all of a sudden you don't really know them anymore and you're not sure what to expect but since the rest of them is so fucking great you assume that they are jesus returned to earth. Well they aren't. And they make mistakes too. And when they apologize profusely you should learn to let it the fuck go instead of taking their offense and turning it into a personal affront that you think defines the way they think or feel about you.
